MC Trip 2003

Welcome back trip log fans.  Another year has come upon us and it’s time to haul ass!

As you can see from the photo at left, this year’s trip is going to delve into a whole new arena of the life of a motorcyclist.  No longer will these trips solely be dedicated to the leisurely pursuit of touring around the country.  This year the trip will have definition and purpose.  It starts out on a fabulous Thursday afternoon, the 26th of June, in lovely downtown Kirkland.

But right from the get-go I’ll be tearing up the miles.  Destination:  Louisville, Colorada.  Purpose:  Iron Butt Association Butt Burner 1500.  For those of you unfamiliar with the IBA, please check them out.  I’ll be taking nothing but freeways for 1500+ miles as I try my hand at becoming a member of the Iron Butt club.  Check out the route.

Once in the greater Denver area, the fun will have just begun.  Saturday is the Catholic School Girl Poker Run !!  Be sure to check out all the hot action.

For those of you who are new to Trip Logs, please visit our archives to the left.  For those of you with ADD (and that seems to be most people I know) skip the logs and check out the Bee stories.
